1. Acceptance and intellectual property

By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

You may not copy or modify the App, any part of the App, or our trademarks; attempt to extract its source code; translate it into other languages; or create derivative versions except where applicable law expressly permits. The App and the trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual-property rights related to it remain the property of Matechmobile Global Limited or the applicable rights holder.

2. The App and service

MatechMobile aims to make the App useful and efficient. We may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may offer paid features or subscriptions. Any price, billing period, or material purchase condition will be displayed before you confirm a purchase.

The App may process information or user-provided content to deliver requested features. Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your device and access to the App secure. We recommend that you do not root your device or remove security restrictions imposed by its official operating system, because doing so may expose the device to malware, compromise security features, or cause the App to function incorrectly.

You must use the App lawfully, respect the rights of other people, and avoid using it in a way that may damage, overload, disrupt, or interfere with the App or related services. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to accept these terms and make purchases.

4. Third-party services

The App uses third-party services that publish their own terms:

Your use of a third-party service is also governed by that provider's terms and policies.

5. Entertainment and animal-care disclaimer

Cat Translator: Talk to Cat is intended for entertainment purposes only. The App may analyze, transform, generate, categorize, or play sounds based on patterns and preset content, but it does not provide a scientifically verified or exact translation of a cat's vocalizations, emotions, intentions, health, or behavior. Results may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular animal or situation. Do not rely on them as factual communication from or to an animal.

The App is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, treatment, or animal-behavior guidance. If your cat appears ill, injured, distressed, aggressive, or behaves unusually, stop using sounds that may be causing discomfort and consult a qualified veterinarian or animal-behavior professional. You are responsible for using the App safely, at a reasonable volume, and in a way that does not frighten, provoke, harm, or distress any animal or person.

6. Connectivity and charges

Some App functions require an active internet connection. MatechMobile is not responsible if the App does not function fully because you do not have access to Wi-Fi or mobile data.

Your agreement with your mobile network provider continues to apply while using the App. Your provider may charge for data, roaming, or other services. You are responsible for those charges. If you are not the bill payer for the device, you confirm that you have the bill payer's permission to use the App.

You are responsible for keeping your device charged and in working order. MatechMobile is not responsible for an inability to use the App caused by your device, network, settings, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

7. Subscriptions, trials, and payments

Where the App offers a subscription, paid feature, or free trial, the price, currency, billing period, trial length, and other material conditions are shown in the Google Play purchase flow before confirmation. Prices may vary by country and may change for future billing periods as permitted by Google Play and applicable law.

Payment is charged to your Google Play account when you confirm a purchase. A recurring subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it before the renewal date shown in Google Play. You can review, manage, or cancel a subscription in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions.

If an offer includes a free trial, the trial converts to a paid subscription at the end of the stated trial period unless canceled before the conversion time shown in Google Play. Eligibility, unused trial time, refunds, and billing disputes are governed by the offer terms, Google Play policies, and applicable law.

8. Updates, availability, and termination

The App is available for supported Android devices. System requirements may change, and you may need to install updates from Google Play to continue using some or all features. We do not promise that the App will always support every device or Android version.

We may stop providing the App or terminate your right to use it at any time where permitted by law. Upon termination, the rights granted under these terms end and you must stop using the App and, where appropriate, remove it from your device.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Although we work to keep information and features current and reliable, some content or functionality may depend on third parties and may be inaccurate, delayed, interrupted, or unavailable.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MatechMobile is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits any mandatory consumer right.

10. Children and family use

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. A parent or legal guardian should supervise a minor's use of the App, including volume, animal interaction, privacy choices, and any purchase.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions when the App, its services, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised terms on this page and update the effective date. Your continued use of the App after revised terms take effect means you accept them, except where applicable law requires another form of notice or consent.
